AXOR icons flow from creative collaborations with world-renowned designers
AXOR starck V, created with the eponymous french designer, reshapes the traditional washbasin mixer with soft shapes, flowing lines and transparency. its sculptural, open source crystal glass spout captures the energy of water in a swirling vortex. this concept bridges the functional and emotional aspects of the vital natural resource. it displays the constant changing currents of water whilst also expressing its natural magic.

resembling a blade of glass, AXOR massaud astounds in an exquisitely thin, organic form. designed by jean-marie massaud, the mixer has been reduced to its essential to appeal to the minimalist, but the design reflects nature in its purest form. a rising spout tops out with a large flat plane that elegantly cascades the liquid as if a silky waterfall. the surface can double up as a functional shelf too.

designed by philippe starck, AXOR starck organic accentuates the sensuousness of nature. the faucet’s gently flowing form invites the user to feel, look and appreciate. cozy colors and tactile materials further this message. at the same time, though, there is an abstract sculptural quality of the design that appears futuristic. it formalizes a new idea of ergonomic function and water-saving efficiency. the traditional single lever is replaced with two separate yet intuitive handles harmoniously integrated into the body: the temperature control on the top and then the water volume control at the bottom of the faucet.

understated yet unmistakable luxurious defines AXOR citterio, designed by the eponymous italian architect and designer. the objects embodies the spirit of italian neoclassicism as balanced proportions and elegant geometries meet in harmony, sophistication and grandeur. despite this, there is still a hint at its modernity to the form and function. its distinctively flat form dazzles with hand-polished surfaces, and an upright joystick-like lever sits atop.

another design from philippe starck completes AXOR icons: the original AXOR starck. inspired by the traditional well pump, the product reduces the faucet to its pure essence whilst at the same time, focusing attention on the luxury of water itself. the archetypal design tells a story of beauty in simplicity. an ultra-thin, long control extends from the main tubular spout. this reinterpreted form expresses the humble beginning of water sourcing in a modern way.
