MELT’s 3D-Printed Design enhances Working Spaces

Designer Ben Hopkins creates MELT, a series of 3D-printed products tailored to optimize homes and workplaces. Setting a new standard in sustainable design, MELT utilizes bio-based filaments derived from recycled food packaging waste, taking a proactive approach to address environmental concerns. By combining these bio-based filaments with compostable or renewable materials like cork, the project offers a wide range of products that seamlessly blend sustainability with innovation. The collection’s lineup of standard products showcases the great possibilities of its innovative approach.

MELT series offers versatile desktop essentials

‘Slice’ stands out as a versatile desktop tray, featuring a cork space divider and a printed headphone hook, effortlessly keeping any workstation organized. The ’50/50 Caddy’ is designed to accommodate the daily work essentials in dynamic work environments, ensuring optimal functionality and style. ‘Strap Trays’ comprise three stackable trays that neatly nest together, providing an efficient storage solution for small office items. Illuminating the workspace, ‘Creature Lamp’ displays a unique articulating design, available in both wall-mounted and panel-mounted applications. Powered by rechargeable, battery-operated LEDs, this lamp embodies MELT‘s commitment to sustainable lighting solutions. In addition to the brand’s exceptional standard product range, the collection offers the opportunity for customization, allowing clients to tailor existing designs to their specific needs.
