UK designer ben wilson designed ‘seebikesaw’ for brooks england (one of the world’s oldest bicycle component manufacturers). the see saw created for adults and children alike uses 2 brooks products including the classic b33 sprung saddle and brooks leather bar tape. his work was on display as part of 100% design london.

  • I was considerably annoyed that we weren’t allowed a go on this at 100%design. it looked well made enough to take the abuse, and all brooks products look better when worn down. It would have benefitted from 10000 visitors see-sawing the day away.

  • @theWhodio 09.28.09 I agree, its stupid showcasing stuff like this and not being able to use it as it doesn’t ‘see-saw’ unless its being used, but in that voice all the chairs at the design festival don’t work as chairs as your not allowed to sit on them right?
