global branding agency artless inc. has completed the branding, graphic design, and art curation of bespoke hotel, which recently opened in shinjuku, tokyo. with the concept of ‘tailoring one’s memories’, the hotel draws from the culture of the neighborhood and embraces the flavor of the city through its carefully crafted spaces.

artless inc. has filled the hotel’s lobby with a collection of eclectic objects and art; including a fukusuke and daruma doll, kiriko glass, and photography of the neighborhood by local and international photographers, distilling the chaos and creativity of the city in a cozy and refined space. the japanese-quotation mark used in the logo, signage, and various design items, references the origin of the word ‘bespoke’; the verb ‘bespeak’, meaning to talk about something. to further engage newer generations and the design-conscious market, ‘bespoke’ is shortened as BSPK in the logomark.

each of the guest rooms is uniquely tailored with bespoke typographic artwork adorning the walls. the original tumbler mugs in the guest rooms are also available for purchase at the kiosk in the lobby, where more amenities and original design items will be added in the future.
