portuguese furniture manufacturer two.six presents ‘bi silla’ by silvia ceñal idarreta among their collection at the 2014 ICFF in new york city. not wanting to design another simple chair, ceñal idarreta creates a piece in which one feels sheltered by exceptional fabrics in fresh colors and soft cushions.

the stylish and comfortable chair is designed for lobbies and gathering spaces. its symmetrical form allows adaptation to different areas with various figures, layouts and distribution. the mid-rise back and side allow arrangement as a place for an individual, or a loveseat for two. facing outward occupants have more privacy, while turned around it becomes a communal site for engagement. ‘bi silla’ is created with a natural oak frame, and covered with fabrics by trevira CS. a complementary side table fits easily into any arrangement of the lounge furniture.
