yoske nishiumi of koi klub has sent us information of their latest venture with onitsuka tiger. their second collection of trainers for onitsuka, called big koi, is inspired by the look and feel of varsity jackets featuring leather, wool and chenile lettering.
550 pairs of the trainers will be available in each of the three colour combinations from selected stores around the world.
the trainers are to be exclusively released at the big koi launch party in berlin on the 29 november, one day before the official release. the party will include live music, djs and the screening of a specially commissioned animation by young french artist wu yue aka nyno.
