international advertising company anomaly, in collaboration with fabian mazzola of bitlens studio, has created a luxury camping pod influenced by THE NEW MINI COUNTRYMAN F60 — a self-initiated project not commissioned by MINI. the concept reflects MINI’s philosophy and takes the car’s compact, round shape. the pod features a completely functional living space, a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

bitlens studio + anomaly‘s award-winning concept camping pod is self-sustainable and clad in weather-sealed material, giving it the ability to withstand a multitude of climates. although compact, the pod includes the necessary amenities that one can find in their own home. ‘this idea came up as I wanted to create an idea, an illusion of a futuristic pod that came with all the accommodations a home has’ explains the designer.

more commentsI love it. It may be a perfect solution for locations where there is agricultural land available but restrictions on dwellings with foundation. It would qualify as a temporary structure but with a composting toilet, solar electric/hot water/heat could be very self-sustaining. I would like to see it on wheels and brainstorm a three part telescoping design or three modules that interconnect. Perfect for young alternative couples in Israel. Who can I talk with about taking this idea to a manufacturer?
This is a beautiful thought bubble as a consequence of Helicopter Parenting! I’m hoping there is a slow release gel coating that slowly dissolves, gently releasing the occupants into nature!!!!!
