luxury camping pod concept influenced by THE NEW MINI COUNTRYMAN F60

international advertising company anomaly, in collaboration with fabian mazzola of bitlens studio, has created a luxury camping pod influenced by THE NEW MINI COUNTRYMAN F60 — a self-initiated project not commissioned by MINI. the concept reflects  MINI’s philosophy and takes the car’s compact, round shape. the pod features a completely functional living space, a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

bitlens studio + anomaly‘s award-winning concept camping pod is self-sustainable and clad in weather-sealed material, giving it the ability to withstand a multitude of climates. although compact, the pod includes the necessary amenities that one can find in their own home. ‘this idea came up as I wanted to create an idea, an illusion of a futuristic pod that came with all the accommodations a home has’ explains the designer.

the creators placed the pod in different environments to highlight the compactness of the design

  • Magnifique ! Mais où sont les rangements ? Pur exercice stylistique ?

    MERLIN Eric says:
  • I like it.i would definitely use it

    Susan lee says:
  • The Dymaxion lives!

    Mort d'Urban says:
  • Such a beautiful camper. It’s not a camper. It’s a home! I’m ready to take in on the road now.

    Mark Seattle says:
  • Brilliant concept, fully selfsustainable…how does it transport though? Super comfort camping…will take one now, in royal grey like my Mini Cooper Countryman with polar white leather upholstery and finishes… Cost? Yay!

    Ingo Vennemann says:
  • This is amazing and would be ideal for touring in just let me know the price? Brilliant concept for those of us who like to camp but only in a certain standard of accomodation

    Steph says:
  • Hey guys lets build more useless items and destroy the environment more than we already have. Here buy this completely necessary piece of equipment! It only costs 100k and you can drag it around the country and burn lot of fossil fuels while you are at it! Sounds fun! Also you can stay inside the whole duration of your trip to ensure you don’t have to experience nature! Or directly interact with anyone else! Stay safe in your pod!

    jmt says:
  • Negative Nancy, geesh. It’s just a design concept. People aren’t clamoring to buy these. It’s just really cool to look at and imagine.

    Womp womp.

    ElPea says:
  • It is a totally incoherent project. Polycarbonate bubble of this dimension, too much design, which does not integrate at all in nature. It is overloaded with design, before we actually need so much superficiality when we are in nature?

    Jean-Charles says:
  • I would love to have one

    Larry Ishmael says:
  • perfectly designed for a hostile environment….like Mars. On earth this is for those who enjoy the sight of nature without having to experience the inconvenience of weather, insects, animals, dirt, dust, germs, sand, rocks, sticks, sticky spiky seeds, nuts………………

    Gregory Gilmour says:
  • This is a beautiful thought bubble as a consequence of Helicopter Parenting! I’m hoping there is a slow release gel coating that slowly dissolves, gently releasing the occupants into nature!!!!!

    Gregory Gilmour says:
  • I love it. It may be a perfect solution for locations where there is agricultural land available but restrictions on dwellings with foundation. It would qualify as a temporary structure but with a composting toilet, solar electric/hot water/heat could be very self-sustaining. I would like to see it on wheels and brainstorm a three part telescoping design or three modules that interconnect. Perfect for young alternative couples in Israel. Who can I talk with about taking this idea to a manufacturer?
