boom-art, the france-based creators of limited editions of skateboards, has teamed up with UWL surfboard, one of the foremost surf factories in europe, in the realization of a series of limited-edition surfboards. the set of two collectors items source european art history in their design: ‘the lady and the unicorn’ — a series of six tapestries woven in flanders from wool and silk, from designs drawn in paris around 1500 — and ‘the garden of earthly delight’ — a three-fold painting by the early netherlandish master hieronymus bosch. each collection is handmade in france, made from polyester resin and hand shaped polyurethane foam, and is individually numbered out of an edition of only ten.
