BOTTEGA RADIO – GIVING THE BRAND A VOICE

 

It’s been over a year since Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta vanished from all social media platforms. The courageous move responded to the brand favoring slower content in order to explore new ways of engaging with its collaborators and audience. First they launched a digital magazine dubbed Issued (read more on designboom here), and now they are back with a radio show intended to give the brand a voice.

 

For its new radio show, Bottega Veneta has joined forces with global music platform and radio station NTS to create a new cultural partnership and monthly radio series.

NEW EPISODES EVERY MONTH

 

With its first show aired on April 8, 2022, setting the tone, the Bottega Radio will run throughout 2022 with new episodes presented every month. The idea behind is it ‘to open up new conversations between NTS residents and guest stars through a series of collaboratively produced musical soundscapes, airing under the new title of Bottega Radio.’

 

For its first episode, the show invited autotune enthusiast Tim Zha a.k.a Organ Tapes, together with L.A’s Jazmin, an expert in Latin music and resident host for NTS show Como La Flor. The series was launched with a party in London with live performances and DJ sets by Vegyn, Slauson Malone, John Glacier, Sky & Mika Oki and Dean Blunt.
