business of design week 2012 in hong kongrichard sapper, BODW forum – day one speaker

the hong kong’s BODW business of design week 2012 forum has kicked-off. the three-day event, taking place at the hong kong convention and exhibition centre in wan chai, will explore how business, society and culture can all benefit from design through eight track and plenary sessions, covering issues related to branding, communication, design for society, fashion and apparel and product design.

this year’s partner country is denmark, with many influential danish designers and creative leaders scheduled to present as part of the conference. the morning plenary session invovled talks by kigge hvid, founding CEO of the INDEX design awards; nille juul-sørensen, managing director of danish design centre; ron arad, ron arad associates; richard sapper with lorraine justice, dean of the college of imaging arts and sciences at the rochester institute of technology (RIT), USA as moderator.
