papila studio has collaborated with hotel furniture company bustper for a new collection of drink cabinets intended for hotels. the collection consists of serval units which each express a unified visual language. the design firm decided to reinvent the typical minibar by incorporating technological features including a bluetooth sound system and connection dock. the key piece offers guests a complimentary table which slides out from the top, allowing them to place down their cups while pouring.

papila’s design draws upon traditional mediterranean values and style which bustper aims to express through their products. the company which is based in la sénia, spain, references rural features – the beechwood doors for example draw upon the charming shutters found in the area. the mini-bar is produced in both a green and terracotta color in birch plywood with a natural oak, ash and walnut veneer and is finished with a colourless matt varnish.

Nature Collection
Papila design studio, which specializes in food, and Bustper (www.bustper.com), a hotel design project furniture company, are presenting a new collection of drinks cabinets for hotels included in their Nature line.

Origin
The drinks cabinet is a key piece of hotel furniture which normally consists of a mini-fridge provided with drinks and snacks. Despite its importance, the user experience it offers and its lack of ergonomy make it difficult for guests to use it and enjoy it.
This is the reason why the Nature collection chooses to recuperate the experience classic drinks cabinets offered and reclaims another way of enjoying a hotel room.
