the clean, crisp white booth features a frosted acrylic privacy door that functions as a mediation booth. the room also doubles up as a phone booth and comes with a built-in ethernet port, motion-enabled led light and ventilation system.

each booth comes with 12 complimentary premium subscriptions to calm, the #1 app for sleep, meditation, and relaxation. it includes nature soundscapes, music, nap stories, and audio programs taught by world-renowned mindfulness experts.

the calm booth by ROOM features three layers of soundproofing materials, made from over 1,000 recycled plastic bottles. calm’s popular nature scenes inspired the interior of the booth, which features a green forest print.

‘neuroscience tells us: meditating at work helps to make us happier, healthier, more satisfied with our jobs, more creative and productive, and better colleagues’, ROOM explains.

(according to the american institute of stress, each year workplace stress costs US companies over $300 billion, with over 1 million people calling in sick daily due to work-related stressors.)

‘investing in the mindful well-being of employees can reduce workplace stress and improve productivity’, it adds. ‘giving people the space and tools they need to find calm in their everyday lives creates a happier, healthier work environment.’
