after a successful first edition, caravana americana returns this october for its second edition. taking place in mexico city and organized by lago—a store owned by regina barrios and alessandro cerutti—the fair showcases the best in latin american design spanning fashion, furniture, textiles and objects. its mission is to position itself as the best show of its kind in the region, taking advantage of mexico’s geographical position, and harnessing the attention that the city is getting internationally. 

this year, caravana americana will take place in the heart of the city at expo reforma from october 14-16, 2106 and is currently looking for talented creatives who want to showcase their work on this occasion. 

a call-for-entry is open for talented creatives wishing to exhibit at caravana americana

the call is open for any designers from, or living, in latin america, offering them the opportunity to exhibit their work. if you’re interested, please fill out the registration form found here.

caravana americana is a mexican fair that promotes contemporary latin american design internationally while offering a platform for local brands to exchange experiences and knowledge. the fair takes place twice a year – once in march and once in october, as well as in june with a special resort edition – bringing together a curated selection of the best of latin america’s emerging fashion, object, jewelry and furniture brands.
