from october 4 – 6, 2019, fashion and furniture trade fair caravana americana will take over mexico city’s historic fronton méxico venue to showcase its 8th edition. featuring a mix of established and emerging brands, the free-to-enter fair will bring together more than 100 of latin america’s best contemporary designers to present their new works to wholesale buyers, international media, and the general public.

caravana americana, which takes place twice a year in mexico city, celebrates contemporary design and craftsmanship, offering a creative platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge. this edition will bring together 110 participating brands from latin america, including 1/8 takamura, andrea landa, arudeko, bamboleira, fenomena, fervor, ishi, la chicharra cerámica, sophie simone design, the artisan craft company, and zii ropa, among others. additionally, on october 5, the fair will hold several workshops and talks with key figures from the design and fashion industries, including a talk led by designboom’s editor-in-chief, birgit lohmann.
