each chair in the project is assigned a particular personality that brings surprise and play into the users’ daily lives. the collection of modular pieces includes shy, an ‘introvert’ design that combines a chair with a chest of drawers; social, which embeds two seats within a bookshelf; and balanced, a curvy seat that takes on multiple uses, transforming into a lounge chair, an ottoman, and a low table.

created by OOO my design and funded by the VEGAP welfare & cultural fund, the designs encourage playful and creative use, inviting their owners to appropriate them as they wish in their living space. in chairs everywhere, complex technical and functional requirements are articulated into objects that are simple to understand, resulting in sincere, familiar, and amusing pieces of furniture.
