following a strong belief that good design should be durable and long lasting, australian firm charlwood design have created a recyclable, elegant and sustainable alternative to disposable cups for their client uppercup. the sturdy BPA-free plastic construction ensures that it is not fragile like ceramic or glass. the unique double-wall tumbler is made from tritan plastic and is ultrasonically welded, insulating the cup without absorbing any odors or flavors. a rotating lid allows the design to be turned to reveal a tilt-up spout, which is then resealed to prevent splashes and unwanted coffee spillage. designed and manufactured in melbourne australia the cup is available in white/black in two sizes – 8oz and 12oz and has just been launched on the crowdfunding site pozible.
