chromoly: road popper

the road popper is a bike-mounted bottle opener designed by the canadian design duo chromoly. designers jonathan sabine and adam pickard developed the design for their own use and decided to share it, polishing the design for production through shapeways. the design attaches directly to the rails on the underside of the saddle, keeping out of sight. users order the product and it is produced on demand using the rapid prototyping services of shapeways in bronze infused stainless steel.

  • i like ahren’s stem-mouned opener–it’s not only less than half as expensive, but also doesn’t require me to remove my toolkit to use it….just sayin.

  • this is great! how do we get one

  • I’ve got a much cheaper solution ; get a regular opener from a garage sale and hang it with a piece of wire to the underside of the seat 🙂

  • cool. I like it.

the guy’s arm hair growing out of his marker or black tatoo looks, well, hairy.
