presented during milano design week 2013, blackbody and cibicworkshop have developed a new lighting product: ‘bonzai’. made from hand-blown italian glass, the lamp uses OLED technology as its light source – combining sustainable production methods and artisan craftsmanship. the organic light-emitting diodes form 2 mm thin luminous surfaces, providing glare and heat-free illumination.
