claesson koivisto rune designs collection of public barbecue grills and furniture based on patterns found in nature. with a circular theme for the shapes of the grill, table and sitting furniture, the elements outdoor collection references forms found in nature such as leaves, farm fields and the shells of scallops.

the swedish multidisciplinary office created the collection for public use, which comprises a series of barbecues in different sizes, stools, tables, benches and planters. whether for a public park or a communal back garden, the pieces are both refined and ‘vandal-safe’, while pieces with more, or less, playful patterns can be combined in the same location for further variation. designed for swedish grill company widala AB, the different elements may be arranged in strict formations or spread around freely, giving users the opportunity to choose whether they prefer small-group arrangements or a larger, one-center formation.
