claesson koivisto rune: portico

‘portico’ table and bookshelf

‘portico’ series by swedish designer-architects claesson koivisto rune consists of a table and a bookshelf. here the designer draws from the architectural structure of ancient roman aqueduct arches, paying tribute to their rhythmic repetition and geometry. ‘portico’ is living divani‘s first bookshelf and is part of the firm’s recent range expansion project, seeking to propose increasingly complete interiors.

  • fresh
    like it

  • it is definitely a set.
one without the other is less good.
    like it though.

  • designboom please….

  • i like the table alot. but the cabinet is problematic, something with the proportions makes the arc element a bit like an arabic decoration and not in place…..
