‘clothes peg iconography’

in a previous article from 2006, designboom covered ‘clothes peg iconography’ an exhibition showcasing the collection of nearly 300 pegs gathered by yoav ziv and gad charny and curated jointly with yaacov kaufman. the show included a variety of clothes pegs ranging from the old to the new and were collected from all parts of the world. see more here.

cloth peg collection by gad charny and yoav ziv ‘clothes peg iconography’this year ‘clothes peg iconography’ will be one of one of seven exhibitions to be hosted by the first edition of compasso di latta during milan design week 2010 at triennale bovisa. the selected exhibitions were curated by alessandro guerriero and riccardo dalisi, and promoted by NABA, nuova sccademia di belle arti milano and triennale design museum.

along with these seven exhibitions, compasso di latta will also present the results of their online competition on sustainable design and organize a week of 36 workshops.
