‘coccola’, a side table designed by luca nichetto with a young french designer, marion gros, is fabricated by means of a traditional technique called sand casting,  that is for the aluminum top  – and by processing solid oak  – for the three legs. the combination of these two ancient techniques led to the creation of an object that interacts with tradition while featuring a contemporary look, which is easy to match with the couch or can serve as vide poche.
the work, created for david design, is being presented at stockholm furniture fair 2013.
