coobeeo: LEGO computer case

lego CPU case by coobeo

created by taiwan-based coobeo, the hello-q PC case has a LEGO-like front panel to allow for easy and temporary decoration with the classic blocks. the stackability of legos means that in addition to creating custom patterns, aspiring lego engineers can also build pockets and shelves into the device.

the cover is available in black, pink, blue, and white, while the unit itself features two front USB ports and an audio jack.

  • i must have been misinterpreting the word ‘creative’ all this time..
i’m off now to cut a hole in my eames chair, stick in a zip, and launch my ‘created’ eameso-q sports bag.
    wish me luck!

    propellorhead says:
  • and yet, my dear propellorhead, i think i would have more fun playing with legos than i would with your sports bag, however lovely. this is just a good excuse for adults to play with legos! how can you be angry about that?!

    caitlin n.r. says:
  • If you want to play with lego, just play with lego, this is the kind of superficial design (if it can be called that) that dilutes real design.
