brass ouroboros bracelet by coppertist.wu

Coppertist.Wu delves into the mystical world of ancient symbols to create its latest accessory, the Ouroboros Bracelet. Made of brass, the design depicts a serpent-like creature constantly devouring itself, representing an eternal cycle of death and rebirth. The origins of the mark can be traced back to ancient Egypt and Greece before making its way to Western culture, and ultimately becoming a widespread mark in Gnostic and Alchemical traditions.

Coppertist.Wu carefully replicated the mythical creature, hand-carving the vivid outline of each scale to texturize the design with a realistic look. Furthermore, the serpent’s eyes were set with zirconia crystal to uplift the accessory and give it a soul.

‘We strived to create a unique and complex piece without losing the spirit of simplicity from the original design. This beautiful piece is the finalization of all our efforts. It’s the perfect accessory for those who want to have a special meaning behind their pieces,’ writes the studio.

The Ouroboros Bracelet by Coppertist.Wu (see more here) is available in both silver and gold and in two diameter sizes: 58mm for small wrists or 60 mm for larger ones. To open the piece, users have to press down on the end of the tail, releasing it from the serpent’s mouth, and then click it back in once it’s settled on the wrist. ‘Do not pull it open directly as this can easily lead to damage to the internal structure of the bracelet,’ warns the team.
