cuatro cuatros is a valencia-based design studio founded in 2010 by cristina ródenas lechiguero and adrián martínez almonacid. their products aim to give new solutions without them necessarily being striking. ‘trampolín’ is a chair whose structure dares to surprise everyone’s perception. it has a challenging, neutral, simple, and classic body that pays homage to bauhaus chairs while it seems to be suspended in a weightless state as if it was floating.

the studio based their design for missana in a very functional, comfortable and schematic chair, with a high contrast between both the horizontal and vertical perspectives, resulting in amazing diagonal lines. ‘trampolín’ is a chameleonic chair with a great variety of metal and fabric finishings that make it suitable for every space. different metal and fabric combinations can be achieved, resulting in a seating object that can fit different spaces. the fact that it’s stackable and that both the seat and back covers are removable make it practical, easy to store and to clean.
