designer danni koldal has transformed a 1961 volkswagen beetle into a sleek, black matte roadster that could be easily owned by bruce wayne in any batman movie. the facelift included a new paint job plus the subtraction of certain parts of the car, resulting in a strong hot rod look.

for this vintage beetle transformation, danni koldal removed the original ornate chrome bumpers along with the fender-mounted turn signals. the car has also been lowered and the mirrors have been replaced by torpedo-looking ones. an interesting detail is the chopped windshield that contrasts with the fact that the roof has been removed too.

adding to the aggressiveness of the design, koldal opted for large whitewall wheels that merge sleekly with the silver-white trim on the doors and bonnet. as for the interior, a minimalist take has stripped it only to the essentials. the dashboard features only a single gauge displaying speed and distance traveled. furthermore, a radio and a few retro indicator buttons complete the overall look. black leather seats not only add to its comfort but to its elegance.
