taking cues from the early 20th century art deco movement, ‘novecento’ by italian designer davide g. aquini is a collection of contrasting LED table lamps. the thick marble discs rest on triangular, metal structures with brass or green-water finish. the lights are produced in two versions, one is made from black marquinia and the other breccia. even when the light turned is off, ‘novecento’ functions as a visual display piece as each piece is different with unique veins and speckles dotted on their shiny surfaces.
