the compact ‘clicktape’ by dutch designer derk reilink offers an alternative to a traditional tape dispenser by linking two round components. the simplicity of its shape enables the product to easily be used, while also making it light weight and cost-effective for production. a special indent just above the stainless steel blade makes it quick to grab the end every time, while the flexible ring means a role of tape can be clicked into the dispenser without any hassle. when it has finished, the remaining core can be directly pushed out from the holder.

the product is currently available on kickstarter with two additional colors, turquoise and green. funding ends on the 31st of may.
