tomorrow sees the start of our next two design-aerobics courses, covering the themes of ‘tech gadgets’ and ‘paper’:

tech gadgets (september 15 – november 15)

as more technological objects find their way into everyday life we look at the most significant designs yet and ponder as to what might be around the corner.

— learning outcomes via the lessons, discussion, homework assignments and exercises participants will:

• gain a better understanding of the workings behind everyday gadgets • learn how popular appliances have evolved and where they are heading in the near future • the reality of electronics manufacturing on the environment • push your lateral thinking as we consider the technological environments of tomorrow • have the opportunity to enhance your portfolio by developing several design projects related to the theme • our instructors will help you verify your ideas so you can optimize them as much as possible during the course • you also have the opportunity to share your work with other participants.
