‘luflic’ is the old english word for ‘lovely’, it is also the moniker under which the canadian duo brent cordner and dave kral design furniture. luflic presented the designs ‘meander’, ‘snowshoe’ and ‘in the round stitch’ at the toronto interior design show last month.

‘in the round’ is named after the in-the-round knitting technique and over 50 feet of wool sleeve was used

to cover the tubular steel frame for the felt version (above right) and 30 feet for the stitch version (above left).

‘the meander chair’ (left) is a continuous length of nickel-reinforced copper tubing that results in surprisingly
comfortable sculptural seating. ‘the snowshoe chair’ (right) is an incredibly light chair made from a composite

of wood and kevlar based on the traditional snowshoe.
