two-legged bip foldable chair claims to be the lightest seat on earth

di-lite equipment’s foldable ‘bip’ is said to offer relaxation where you never thought it was possible. the light, compact and durable design is able to be set up easily and quickly to provide comfortable seating anywhere and at anytime. it is not just for the outdoors and adventures; it is also perfect for use at public events, on transport and even in the office.

di-lite equipment’s ‘bip’, which features two legs that are linked by a high tenacity polyester strap, weighs only 430g yet has a weight capacity of 135kg. it takes three seconds to open and close but, when folded, measures only 36cm by 9cm. the design then fits compactly into its accompanying strapped pouch, which can easily be carried or even attached to a carabiner.

the seat’s impressive weight-load is achieved thanks to the brand’s newly developed ‘atom’ structure that perfectly balances forces. its bipod-like construction – made from nickel-plated aluminum – ensures users sit in a dynamic posture so that their muscles will be constantly active and receive sufficient blood flow.

made 100% in italy, di-lite equipment’s design is available in two editions: basic and pioneer. the former is offered in five colors whilst the latter can be chosen in either natural hemp fabric or premium italian leather. the foldable ‘bip’ seat is currently sourcing crowd funding so find out more via their kickstarter page.
