founded in milan in 1982, domus academy was the first post-graduate design school in italy. it was established with the aim of preparing designers for personal growth and professional success in an ever-changing market. as part of this, their ‘learning by designing’ methodology balances the theoretical with the practical, where classroom theory is paired with workshop practice. the results have continued to enrich, spread and update the design culture in italy and also around the globe.
