the luminous branches of the ‘lucciola’ light stand by italian studio dorodesign reference the form of a tree. based on the natural shape of a trunk, the piece, which translates from italian to mean ‘fireflies’, has LED lighting fixtures integrated into the tips of its offshoots. constructed from cement and iron, the object appears light and slender, serving also as a coat rack, umbrella stand and storage container. all of the pieces of furniture in the natevo range are available with a choice of a warm or cooler light range.
