beginning next month, gallery libby sellers will take over a space in london’s brompton design district to present ‘drawn from clay – noordoostpolder’. the show will feature new work by the dutch design studio atelier NL. made up of designers nadine sterk and lonny van rijswijck, atelier NL was part of a research project investigating the agricultural particularities of the noordoostpolder region of central netherlands. this exhibit will showcase their research and resulting designs. along with geological samples, photographs and field analysis, the exhibit will display a series of hand-thrown clay vessels made from soil they collected. the vessels and their photographs by paul scala will be for sale during the exhibit. the dutch ceramic company royal tichelaar makkum will launch a collection based on atelier NL’s work at this year’s salone de mobile in milan. http://www.ateliernl.com http://www.libbysellers.com
