dustdeluxe, a brussels-based studio specializing in experimental material use has created ‘bloated objects’, a series of furniture – including a shelf, table and hooks – that reinterprets the traditional application of leather. produced without seams and the aid of complicated molds, the pieces represent a natural and unique approach to furniture design. sheets of leather filled with expanding foam are supported by wooden frames, creating simple and organic objects.
