studio job set the scene for the performances conceived by dance composers hans van manen, jorma elo, ton simons and juanjo arqués. the creative duo of nynke tynagel and job smeets drew on the scenography of their ‘rebellious sophistication’ stage set for dutch fashion house viktor & rolf’s show for paris fashion week 2013, which saw the stage platform lined with a dynamic gray toned graphic print of wooden herringbone floor boards. in addition, viktor & rolf were involved in the ‘dutch doubles’ production, having designed the costumes for the dancers, which include square tutus.
