edward van vliet: 'sushi' collection for moroso

graphic pattern for fabrics of ‘sushi’ collection by edward van vliet

a preview of milan design week 09: dutch designer edward van vliet launched his ‘sushi’ furniture collection for moroso. the range includes ‘karmakoma’ sofa, ‘juju’ fauteuil, ‘sushi’ block seat and ‘donut’ pouf, which he created with graphic patterns and specially designed upholstery fabrics.

it is called ‘sushi’ collection, because of the combination of fabrics – it is a sort of wrapping. you can make all kinds of variations of patterns, fabrics, embroidery, colors, … you can create your own ‘dish’ of different kind of pieces of furniture – edward van vliet. ‘donut’ pouf by edward van vliet for moroso image © designboom
