elena salmistraro is an italian product designer and artist based in milan. her work encompasses organic, fluid, sinuous and sometimes even sharp natural ecosystems. by playing with shapes and volumes, she is able to join both the artcraft/artistic world as well as the design and architecture one. ‘ensemble’ is her latest project, and as her other pieces, it started as a game.

‘ensemble’ is a lamp/vessel produced by nasonmoretti that expresses the love for daily use objects and the desire to restore their poetics through interlocks and overlaps. the elegant combination between the various blown glass-crafted elements gives the object a story that consists of visual and physical balance, obtained also by skillfully combined textures, weights, and colors.
