as part of festival asalto in zaragoza, spain, ENORME studio has rethought a traditional picnic table and created ‘picnictopia’, an alternative collective dining space at IES María Moliner center. the team has stacked 17 tables into a pyramid and completed it with a mountainous landscape made of plywood and colorful doodles.

with the help of the students and professors of IES and designers and architects of the city, ENORME has built a piece of furniture to amplify the urban experience of the courtyard. the last day they painted it with a powerful graphical pattern that reinforces the idea of a supernova that had just landed in the public space of the school.
