erez mor knits bubbles, a customizable, modular seating system

erez mor’s ‘bubbles’ is a soft modular seating system that comes in units of three balls of different sizes and colors, allowing you to connect additional units in a fun way. by moving the bubbles, you can always change the sitting or reclining position you need inside the house.

mor’s bubbles are knitted by hand with two techniques: stockinette and rib stitch. each unit comes in a different color, allowing the user to choose their favorite colors and mix them into one system.

‘the main objective of the project is that anyone can create a personal seating system and assemble it like a game,’ explains the designer. ‘in addition, it allows the user to choose the shape of the seating system and make his own quiet area.’
