in the design of the cartela bookshelf, esrawe studio had taken on a structural investigation into the basic concepts of triangulation and the intersection of planes. the location of the vertical axes of the piece, as well as the position of its palettes, dictates the possible configurations of the set and allows great versatility in terms of language and expression of the design. the shapes and the finishes used, reinforce a proposal free of ornaments to emphasize the absence of visual noise and sculptural character of the piece.

the hacienda chair was born from the reinterpretation of one of the most emblematic pieces of the brand. the piece is stripped of the ornamentation typical of the traditional furniture of the mexican haciendas, leaving only the most elemental features. this design is exposed as a balanced composition that subtly interacts with the space and that translates as a reference of furniture of simple and timeless character.

the kanji dining table is a piece based on pure geometries and simple assemblies. the form responds specifically to the areas of no contact with the user, physically reflecting this ‘absence’ in its construction. the austere character of the structure can be configured in two positions that confer an idea of opposites.

the tandem chair is comprised of an integration of two initially opposite elements, one dominantly organic and the other rational. this dichotomy forms a comprehensive whole and gives the tandem chair its characteristic sense of forcefulness and versatility. the development of the chair had seen a high degree of complexity, structured with multiple assemblies all made of wood.
