'everybody is' by masterstudio design

‘everybody is’ is a part of masterstudio design, which is a subsidiary of the academy of art and design in basel, which defines itself as a place for experimentation, discourse and production for designers of all design disciplines as well as for cultural scientists.

as part of milan design week 2010, in zona tortona, ‘everybody is’ is exhibiting a room installation representing the idea of interdisciplinary work within the academy. the analogy of the human body and its inner organs have been chosen as the metaphor to describe best what the masterstudio design is doing. the result is a seating landscape of organs and projections, where every part is unique in its size, shape and function, the human body only working through their interaction.
