motorcycles have always carried the spirit of adventure: from ‘jupiter’s travels’ to the ‘long way round’, in all great bike stories there is often a character who yearns to discover. the motorcycle ‘bivouac’ tent embraces this adventurous spirit and thirst for the unknown. for exposed, the swiss company behind the portable shelter, it is less about reaching a destination in a certain time–but much more about being out on the road.

exposed’s ‘bivouac’ tent provides the necessary shelter to let explorers enjoy the outdoors by integrating the motorcycle as part of the supporting structure, reducing the package size to a minimum. there is ample room for one person plus luggage, and a one-zippered vent lets protected people stand up on their mattress or sleeping bag while keeping other items dry.
materials selected with care
the tent can adapt fully to a variety different motorcycle heights–from a low chopper, mid-sized scrambler to a high cross machine. in addition, the bike seat is always covered from rain, no matter what choice of ride. materials are selected with care, crafted to last and designed to provide a perfect shelter.
handmade in switzerland
the ‘bivouac’ is made from cordura—the fibers of this dense fabric are processed with a trademark coating for a high level of water impermeability. all chosen materials are made with the intention of creating a product that lasts with high functionality.
designed for compact convenience
the tent comes neatly stored in a peg and pole pocket. it forms a rolled tent package only 15 cm in diameter and 45 cm in width. these dimensions can be adjusted to perfectly fit your motorcycle, from a thicker shorter roll, to a thinner longer roll. the leather binding strap serves also for mounting.
waking up in new environments
exposed was founded by a group of outdoor and motorcycle enthusiasts, who love to travel light. they believe that this way of simplifying life to its bare essentials maximizes the experience. designed to deal with rough conditions in the mountains by those who know them best. exposed placed a great deal of importance in cultivating a good relationship with its local manufacturer, guaranteeing the product quality and knowing it is made under fair working conditions.
