fabrica design: ‘we are typical’

the project is based on the reinterpretation of northern italy’s rich decorative tradition.  fabrica is located in treviso, a city dubbed ‘the city of art’. this north eastern city of the veneto region has a particularly rich cultural and artistic background.  

the 25 pieces, produced by an historical Italian ceramic company from bassano del grappa, are playing with the iconic meanings they have given their place in history, and highlight with humour the differences in our modern conception of elegance.

the ‘we are typical’ collection will be on show at rossana orlandi in april as part of the salone del mobile.
