fabrica, bennetton’s communication research centre has designed ‘objet coloré’, a modular system of display fittings for their united colors of bennetton retail stores to showcase their line of apparel and accessories. the collection features a number of flexible fixtures in multi-coloured geometric forms serving as stools, tables, shelves, hanging racks etc., which allow each shop location to personalize the furniture pieces according to their individual needs. the series mixes a variety of shapes, bold hues and a combination of surfaces / materials (metal, wood and plastic) which compliment the brand’s aesthetic.
‘objet coloré’ has been on exhibition at the triennale di milano as well as bennetton icon stores in milan, london, barcelona and paris and was developed by fabrica team members sam baron, amaury poudray, dean brown, giorgia zanellato, marie dessuant, catarina carreiras and valentina carretta.
