  • I’m not saying this because it is hello kitty, but that is absolutely shocking design, they must have had so much funding for this and this is the final product… just shocking.

    tomitwoshoes says:
  • I agree

    Alis says:
  • hello cat, just stupid design.

    hex says:
  • fillico, more like phallico (phallic), what a piece of nonsense all for drinking water….. hasn’t anybody heard of a tap.

    cagey says:
  • people who can afford a 600 dollar waterbottle should help people who don’t even have water instead of wasting it on hello kitty swarovski BS…

    waterboy says:
  • The bottle shape is stolen from the australian juice company Found Organic.. pussy’s can’t think of their own design.

    mdftg says:
  • what wanker would buy this crap? oooh look at me and my 0 sparkly bottle of water…. Tosser! I’m guessing that due to the fact that nobody has written anything complimentary about this product then it’s a consensus that this is just plain bad.

I WOULD NOT EVEN CALL THIS DESIGN.

For anybody in the following comments who say that they like this design/concept, you’re in obvious need of an IQ transplant. I can only guess that DB has posted this to spark debate, or the lack thereof.

P.S Swarovski and Fillico, I have nothing but deep dislike of you both.

    kg says:
  • Totally agree, that is not design… still you somehow expect this of hello kitty. Swarovsky on the other hand… that is just falling low.

    ale says:
  • I’m going to hold out for the Hello Kitty/ Swarovsky Toilet Paper.
The item above and the toilet paper connect with the same byproduct!
    Enough already.

    rcvs1 says:
  • I try to be even handed and encouraging when offering my two cents on Design Boom.
    However! Here goes….

I realize this type of egregious and ostentatious consumption is still fashionable with a small group of wealthy, under-educated status seekers but this is the most expensive, ridiculous, wasteful product packaging I think I have ever seen.

An embarrassing design and market approach. Luxury is one thing…. this is not luxury. It’s something else.

    DBG says:
  • hello kitty, swaraoski and fillico, try sitting on that and rotating… ouch! Sadly that’s where it belongs.

Either there or in the “kitty” litter.
