reebok introduces its first adaptive shoes

Reebok has teamed up with Zappos Adaptive to launch a sneaker collection specifically designed to empower people with disabilities. Named ‘Fit to Fit’, the adaptive footwear is envisioned for functionality and inclusivity without compromising on style.

‘We’re proud to introduce our first official adaptive footwear collection to help those with disabilities thrive – from sports and fitness to everyday life,’ says Todd Krinsky, Senior Vice President, GM, Product at Reebok Design Group (RDG).

‘We’re thrilled to have partnered with RDG on their Fit to Fit Collection, and for the opportunity to introduce our first functional and fashionable athletic shoe to the Zappos Adaptive shopping experience,’ comments Dana Zumbo, Business Development Manager at Zappos Adaptive. ‘First-hand feedback from the disability community is essential when designing or modifying a product that is accessible and also delivers on fashion.’

meet NanoFlex TR and Club MEMT

Reebok has launched two sneaker models as part of the Fit to Fit collection: the Nanoflex Parafit TR for sports activities, and the Club MEMT Parafit tennis shoe. Both models feature a medial zip closure in addition to laces, meaning that users can effortlessly pull the shoes on and off. There are also handy pull tabs on the heels and the zipper to make the sneakers even easier to wear.

Both the Nanoflex TR and the Club MEMT models can be bought as a single shoe and in a pair. The Club MEMT also offers an extra 4E for wider foot support, a low-cut design for easy mobility, and a removable sockliner for a custom fit. The Fit to Fit collection is already available to purchase from Reebok’s website in a range of unisex sizes and stylish colorways.
