daily nonsense is the field of predilection of french artist and designer florence doleac. her work resides in a cabinet of wonders – extraordinary objects to investigate, unnecessary objects, … the lines between high art and popular culture blurred as products of consumer culture became cultural icons and gave rise to new generation of designers.

functions also as a rug and resembles long flowing hair, exhibited at aline vidal gallery. florence doleac born in 1968, in 2003 she left the design group RADI (recherche, auto-production, design industriel), which she co-founded. in 1997and decided to develop her own work. she teaches at the national school of decorative arts in paris and at the ecole cantonale d’art in lausanne, switzerland.
