‘tree fungus’ shelf by floris wubben and bauke fokkema

‘tree fungus’ is a shelving unit whose main structure is made up of two halves of a pollard willow. a joint development between dutch designer floris wubben and artist bauke fokkema, the two trunk structures are connected by three parasite-like compositions whose appearance draws on the many fungi and moulds found within the stem of this typical dutch tree.
