‘corner ladder’ by company & company
made for small domestic spaces, barcelona-based design studio company & company have sent us images of ‘corner ladder’. the redeveloped useful tool is made to fold not only flat, but also compresses horizontally into a single pole. the hinges and dowels make it easy to open and close while the wooden device maintains its structural stability. to make space for the folded rungs, the rails have indented space, allowing for the frame to unite into a single bar.

ok i object. im all for innovation, design editing, re-do’s, improvements, however you want to call it but i despise plagiarism or work copied when no credit is given to the original and its passed off as new. that folding ladder is not new and yes the links show the older designs done in the RV world. i would have much more respect for C&C if they said, here is our re-done version of a great design, rendered in bamboo. ok fine! but they didnt and therein lies the problem. meantime my tiny apartment could seriously use a compact ladder!
